Introducing...
Lorraine Hartley
Lorraine joined Coblands in 2003. Being an active member of the Order Lifting and Despatch team she soon realised her passion for all things horticultural.
Having set her mind on a career in horticulture she jumped at the chance to become the latest member of the Coblands Sales Team.
Being passionate about the Landscapes around her, she’s developed an eye for design and planting plans. Over the years she’s developed a vast knowledge of plant varieties and the industry as a whole, making her an ideal candidate to offer friendly advice on planting schemes and design options.
She’s been heavily involved in the Coblands Hampton Court events, helping the company towards a 2nd and 3rd place award in the commercial Plant Plots category.
In her spare time Lorraine is a keen gardener and loves nothing more that growing her own fruit and veg, regularly trialling new and interesting varieties.
Being a keen amateur botanist, country walks in search of rare orchids, native flora and visiting national collections are a favourite pastime.
On a more random note there’s the ducks, yes that’s right, ducks, she has a garden full of them, fascinating creatures, species of waterfowl from all round the world. She’s a budding geologist, when she’s not scaling cliffs looking for rare species of native Poppy and Scabious she’ll be smashing them to pieces with her rock hammer in search of fossils and native minerals.
