Description

A charming green-flowered species Hellebore native to a few countries in Eastern Europe. Regarded by most experts to be one of the hardiest of the green flowered Hellebores and not often found in cultivation. Rich, apple-green flowers are produced in late winter through spring on short stems. Variable scent, which at its best is quite sweet. Hardy and easy to grow.

Best grown in 'woodsy' soils, that are fluffy, light and leaf or bark rich.

Height: 40cm.
Spread: 50-60cm.

CAUTION: Plants in this genus are poisonous if eaten and a skin irritant.
